JCM 315: ADVANCED NEWS WRITING AND REPORTING

Spring 2018

In this class taught by Cheryl Wray, I was given the opportunity to write and revise five news stories centered around a beat. My reporting beat was education, which allowed me to connect with teachers, students, and administrators from Tuscaloosa-area schools in order to craft relevant stories about what affects K-12 education in the city and county systems.
